Took the SP101 out with a box of .357 mag rounds. Was working on speed drills (that you typically can't do in a range) so was out in the woods with a steep hill as a back stop. Anyway, found the SP101 was ok/manageable in slow fire but not acceptable for me in a speed drill. Now to start looking for a heavier gun to use in the woods.
This then is an ideal revolver for you; a S&W Model 625-3 in .45 ACP:I would really like to go to a six round 3 inch barrel revolver. I need to get out of my small town and spend the time to drive to Boise and visit some gun stores. While the selection is somewhat limited at the local grocery store, there are folks around with FFLs but I am not going to buy a pistol on line. Meanwhile I will continue to carry my P227 (.45).
The holster is easy...Milt Sparks PMK. Perfect for this firearm.Nice solution, but finding one and then finding a holster might be a real challenge!
I don't normally carry a revolver but when I do it's also a 642. I appreciate how it carries and disappears when I conceal carry. I used to be able to do an impressively quick reload with a speed strip but that was many years ago.I concealed carry my S&W 642.
When bumming around, think camping and fishing and general desert exploring, I carry my stubby Taurus 44 Mag.

You have shown some very interesting pistols, did you buy them new? If not, where can I go looking for a couple of them?I carry a revolver often. If not I carry a Glock 27, a BHP, or a 1911 (.45 ACP or 10mm).
This is one of my favorite carry revolvers, a S&W Model 13-4 .357 Magnum:
