I have to say, I was surprised by how powerful the IR illuminator turned out to be, especially for something in this price range. It’s not quite on the level of a PEQ, but for civilian night shooting or training, it definitely gets the job done. I managed to get some pretty solid positive identification at over 100 yards while using Gen 3 NVGs, which I think is pretty impressive. Both the visible and IR lasers stayed zeroed even after putting a couple hundred rounds through it, which is awesome. The controls were a bit of a learning curve, but once I got used to the layout, everything felt pretty intuitive.
