What lubricants do you use?

For anyone who stores firearms in cold settings, I’d like to explore the long-term effects of grease compared to traditional gun oil. What challenges, if any, have you encountered after prolonged low-temperature storage?

In cold weather I prefer an oil like Militec-1 and when using a firearm in extreme heat something like Tetra Gun Grease tends to remain on the firearm and doesn't run so much.

I usually store my firearms in an indoor safe with a Goldenrod, so they stay fairly toasty. The lighter lubes tend to pool if stored for a while while the gun grease stays put.

Cold weather really made me reconsider using heavy grease in a hurry. It just gummed things up more than I wanted and switching to a lighter oil definitely kept everything running smoother for me.
