The firearm feature that's completely useless to me

I'll say "Ambidextrous controls". I'm right-handed, always will be and the extra levers just add places for dirt to get in and things to snag. I get why they exist for lefties but on a gun meant for me specifically? That's unnecessary complexity, sometimes the standard configuration is standard because it works fine for most people...
 
I'm not a fan of safeties on striker fired handguns. I'm right handed but can see the benefit of Ambidextrous controls on hammer fired automatics.... in the case of weak hand shooting....
 
I don't mind the Ambi controls. Most of the guns I buy come with them stock. I figure since my wife shoots also and she's a lefty, if she wants to shoot mine she can. She has her own so she never touches mine. Guns that is. LOL
I guess there's another advantage to having Ambi controls. It sounds kind of tactical commando but what if something happens to your right hand/ arm?
