I started my shooting journey with my dad's classic .30-30, and I’m using a Savage 110 in .308, which has helped me take down a few mule deer in the South Hills. I’m looking to learn more about long-range shooting since my farm limits me to 300 yards for practice. I’m also eager to hear your thoughts on the latest bolt-action options. Glad to be here!

Welcome aboard! I have a nice Remington 700 in .25-06 that is a tack driver. I used it to qualify on a 1,000 range. They required proficiency at 1,000 yards before you could use the range on your own. So far my best shot is a prairie dog at 403 yards.

Feel free to post any questions or share your experiences! We’re all in this together, learning from each other and enjoying this amazing state we call home. And we’d be happy to see a photo of your Savage 110 as well. Welcome aboard!
