I have a real passion for elk and mule deer hunting in the backcountry. I also enjoy predator calling for coyotes and wolves and long-range shooting in the high desert is a favorite of mine. I always carry my gear because you never know when you might run into a mountain lion or bear I work with bolt-action rifles in various calibers, ARs like my .300 Blackout for hogsand I make sure to have quality optics for mountain shooting along with a trusty sidearm for backcountry adventures.
