Glock loaded mag for long period

Will a fully loaded Glock magazine hurt the spring tension in the long run?

My understanding is that the spring loses tension when worked...compress, expand, compress, etc. I have had Glock magazines loaded for a year or more with no issues. I have had 1911 mags loaded about the same (a year goes by so quick nowadays) without issue.

The only issues I've seen are with older aftermarket mags or springs that have already been heavily used. But Glock's OEM mags are durable. So you don't have to worry about it.
