I see the new ad from Bi-Mart this morning and they have Magtech 10 mm 180 grain JHP on sale for under $20 a box of 50. That's a pretty darn good price!

The 38 Special is also at a good price.

The 9mm not so much IMHO.

Your mileage may vary.
If you have an erection for longer than 4 hours consider yourself blessed.

That’s a really good deal on the 10mm, Magtech’s usually decent range ammo especially at that price.

Still haven't tried them out🤨

I loaded up the mags for my DS WARRIOR 10MM. I noticed that the hollow point cavity wasn't real "clean". Doesn't bother me much, just an observation.

Any update after getting them to the range? I'd be interested to hear whether that rough-looking hollow point cavity had any effect on feeding or if they ran without a hitch.

They ran perfectly. I don't have a chronograph so I can't speak to their velocity, but they feel better than weaker stuff.

I wanted to buy more, but decided to hold onto some $$$ so I could buy primers and bullets to start reloading. Been cleaning my brass.

My property slopes down to a creek and there are houses on the other side of the creek. I used to shoot at a deserted gravel pit, but someone bought the property and is now developing it for the folks moving from the West Coast. I think it is time to invest in a simple and transportable hard target set up as I am on the edge of the Payette Forest and do not really want to hang a target on a tree.

I picked up a couple of these and tried them out: Ultra Mega Static Target Mounts. They let me hang my targets on either a T-Post or a 2x4. Very sturdy and well constructed.

I also bought a couple of these: Ultra Mega Steel Gong Targets. They are very sturdy, and I can use my rifles with them. Pistol bullets don't even scratch them (25 yards with magnums). They recommend 100 yards for non-magnum rifle and 200 for magnum. The targets come in sizes up to 16" diameter. I use 12" and it is perfect.
