I just picked up 1. So far, 2 sessions at 50 rnds each. The grip is good, trigger ok and seemingly slightly improving. Love the front sight, not the rear. Seems to like a 12 o'clock hold.
Having trouble finding a leather OWB with a thumb break. At least within a reasonable price point.

I handled one briefly and liked how it felt but the holster options seemed limited. That’s usually the case with newer models, gear just takes a while to catch up.

I just picked up a DeSantis Holster from Amazon that fit the gun quite well. I would have kept it except that I went through my stock of holsters and found one that I already had that fit it.
This holster came set up to be red dot optic capable. For me, I prefer a belt tunnel style holster. I wear a Leatherman and feel like I don't have that much real estate on my belt to carry this style holster. For most people I think it would work great. Also, I have a generic nylon chest rig from Amazon that was less than $100. It fits every 3.8" or bigger gun that I have. I used it a bunch when i had a Xdm Elite and highly recommend that for off-road work. For me if I'm hiking or Jeeping that is the ticket.

I have a custom chest holster for mine. Kydex GunfightersINC . I wear it fishing over my waders, or deep in the forest. 10mm for teh win!

How does the finish hold up to the kydex?

I've always used leather because it would seem to have less wear.

Like I said, I've always run leather with 1 nylon chest holster. Scheels had a deal on a Vortex red dot that I took advantage of. Now that negates my current leather and nylon holster. So, now I'm back lookin.
I've always been a fig fan of thumb breaks for retention. How does Kydex do in that regard?

I can shake my holster upside down and the firearm remains locked in. To remove I use my thumb to break the tension. Its easy and a fast draw. As I stated, customize with a blower heat gun and screw driver. The company I used always picks up the phone, and YouTube videos on the process abound. Good Luck.

Initially I found that putting the magazines to their 15 round stated capacity made it impossible to close the slide either by slingshotting or using the slide release. I left the magazines loaded to capacity for 2 weeks and that softened up the spring a bit. Problem solved.
The other day I tested the gun with some higher level 10 mm. I ran some Sig 180 jacketed hollow point and Underwood 200 grain hard cast through it. Others have reported problems cycling heavy personal defense rounds. I had no problem with mine. It handled both of those loads perfectly. The only downside is even after 20 or 30 rounds the optic shows a noticeable level of grime from the ported barrel.
