Pistol recoil springs

Just out of curiosity, how frequently do you change the recoil springs in your pistols?

I mostly shoot revolvers...haven't had a need to swap out yet. My S&Ws seems to get smoother with more shooting.

When I was shooting competition I had a set of springs and would change them based on the nature of the shoot. Other than that I don’t think I replaced any for over a year.

With my semi-autos I change them when I can notice a difference in recoil and/or performance. It seems my mag springs wear faster than the recoil springs. In my 1911s I use Wilson flat springs and they seem to last longer.
