I have a small ranch located just outside of town where I manage a cattle operation and some hay production. Guns are simply part of everyday life out here. I keep a rifle in the truck for coyotes and the rare cougar that might show too much interest in the calves. There’s a shotgun by the door for rattlesnakes and skunks, and I carry a .357 revolver on my hip almost all the time when I’m outdoors.

I had this coyote bothering my dogs...I used a Wilson Combat CQB with a Black-Talon JHP. He was 53 yards away and dropped like a stone.

Our community is pretty good, with a nice blend of hunters, competitive shooters, collectors, and those who value their 2A rights. Idaho is one of the top states for gun owners, and this forum really showcases that love for freedom. We're glad to welcome you here!
