With all the changes happening in gun laws across the country, I was wondering, has anything shifted recently in Idaho regarding carry laws, transport rules, or mag capacity? It feels like things are moving fast, and I’d love to know what's going on!

I think Idaho has done a pretty good job of keeping it simple for gun owners. It’s definitely one of the more gun-friendly states out there, and I haven't noticed any big changes recently that would make anyone worry. That being said, I always recommend checking in with your local sheriff’s office or the state website every now and then. Even in states that are great for gun rights, little changes can pop up, and it’s way better to stay ahead of the game than to be caught by surprise.

It’s always a good idea to keep an eye on local laws and any changes at the federal level. But it looks like Idaho is doing a solid job of sticking to its guns. It’s great to see that getting concealed carry permits has become easier. That’s definitely a win for anyone who’s traveling and wants to have some reciprocity.

Based on everything I’ve seen, Idaho has remained quite stable. I know it seems like many states are constantly changing their rules, but Idaho hasn’t really joined that trend. The constitutional carry is still going strong, transport laws haven’t tightened up out of nowhere, and there’s still no cap on magazine capacity anywhere in the state.

Tagging for interest. We're still in Nevada, and are only a bad election result away from becoming east Kaliforniastan....
