Just got back from a day at one of the local lakes here in Idaho. Targeted some trout with my buddy, hoping to snag a few for dinner. The weather was pretty nice, clear skies and not too windy, water was a bit chilly but that's expected this time of year. We were throwing some spinners and had a few bites, but ended up missing more than we caught. Managed a couple decent rainbows, but the big one got off right at the bank — classic! Always forget my net. How's everyone else doing this year? Any luck out there?
