Fashion Faux Pas at the Range?

I've been heading to the range a bunch lately and I can't help but notice the outfit choices people are making. I'm not talking about tactical vests and all that, just regular clothes.

Camo tends to catch my eye. It's like, are we hunting or just plinking? I mean, no shade to anyone who loves it, but I feel like it's a bit much for just running some drills or emptying a few mags. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather keep it simple.

Lately, I've been opting for some jeans, a plain shirt, and sturdy boots. Just something that's comfy and safe — definitely no sandals in the shooting lanes. I like to think I'm blending in instead of standing out like a sore thumb.

So, what do you guys wear? Do you think about this stuff too, or am I just overthinking it? What's your go-to range outfit?

Can't remember ever giving it much thought other than when shooting certain pistols that tend to cough a hot case down my shirt. never been much of a dancer but have been known to cut the rug when that happens.
as far as costume just what I have on when the spirit moves me to shoot.
Of course I have a lot of latitude as my range extends from my front porch out 150 yards. I could shoot neckked but it would scare off all my pets.

I usually wear long sleeves and pants rather than shorts. Always a hat and glasses. I prefer cargo pants so I can use the oversize pockets. Other than that, don't think much of it.

A gal I know wore a low cut top showing a whole lot of her ample cleavage. She ended up with a burn scar from a .308 AR-10 on her left boob. She never dressed like that again.

It all depends on where and what I am shooting. At an indoor or outdoor range it is long pants and long sleeves. At home it is whatever I have on to work outside when shooting one of my pistols because I am the only one shooting. If I am sighting in a long gun then it is back to range dress.

I shoot competitively- IDPA, USPSA, ICORE, and am usually wearing lightweight long sleeve and pants. During matches, I'm outside in the sun for 5-7 hours. Mostly as I'm trying to protect myself from another skin cancer spot.
