Kamiah maybe....

Contemplating a move to the Kamiah area currently living in Dayton, Nevada. I'm a retired machinist/Tool & Die maker. To many Kaliforniastan people moving here, and we feel the need to get a little further away. 80% of our population lives in Las Vegas or Reno, and it's a case of the tail wagging the dog…. Sorry for the rant…. Not sure just what the future holds, but we will be up in the Kamiah area toward the end of the month, looking at some properties, and getting a feel for the area. We'll pull our camp trailer and stay locally while looking around for about a week.

Besides hunting and fishing I'm a competitive shooter USPSA…

Any advice would be greatly appreciated….

I recently went through your decision making - fleeing WA and found Idaho Falls. We have a very active pistol club that has USPSA, steel challenge, IDPA icore cowboy and a bunch of outlaw stuff to keep any pistol competitor busy. Hunting & fishing is good nearby.
